About

Hi, I’m Bolaji Adeola, author of “Milk of The Serpent”.
Thanks to my parents, and my beloved primary school, Grange, Ikeja, Lagos, paperback novels and children’s stories were a constant feature at home during my childhood.
One day during my early years in elementary school, I came upon a book with a strange title called “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” by a certain C.S Lewis. I was utterly blown away by it and the entire series holds a special palce in my heart to this day.
Since then, I’ve spent many of my best moments, lost in the world of epic thrillers and fantasy. Legendary writers like Cyprian Ekwensi kept me awake for many nights in boarding school. Since then, incredible writers like David Gemmel, Ann Rice, Robert Ludlum, Eric Van Lustbader, John, Gwynne, Bernard Cornwell, Joe Abercrombie, Nnedi Okorafor and many more have made inspired me over and over with their brilliance.
Today, when I’m not lost between the sentences and paragraphs of a great book, I’m busy creating my own stories, worlds and characters. I love folklore, mythology, horror and fantasy stories from all over the world.
I currently live and work in West Africa. Milk of The Serpent is my first novel. I’m working on my second one.
